Personal History:
Maurice Maher has been racing triathlon since 1995 he is currently a carded member of the Canadian Development Triathlon Team, was 4th overall at the 2003 Duathlon National championships, and is a NCCP level 1 coach for Triathlon. He is currently a Bronze carded athlete through Pacific Sport.

In the past ten seasons Maurice has competed in over one hundred triathlon, running, mountain biking and cross country ski races. He has progressed gradually throughout this time and has never had an overuse injury. Maurice has been exclusively self coached and has finished every race he has ever entered, his race history includes the following results:

• 10 time Ironman finisher, 21st overall at 2002 Ironman Canada (9:25)
• 5 time Marathon finisher (PR of 2:51)
• British Columbia men 25-29 age group champion 2002 Olympic distance (3rd overall)
  
• British Columbia men 25-29 age group champion 2001 long course (9th overall)
  
• 2 time Team British Columbia age group member (1995 Triathlon, 1996 Duathlon)
